:: Lull

Mano cutting through Red Tape
Unconventional but effective
Tour de Sand
Small wedges down the beach
Grommet onto it early
Cockatoo's hanging
Head Dips

Rocking up to the beach this morning it was easy to write it off as another flat day.   There wasn’t much of a crew out early and the high tide was giving the ocean a lake-like appearance, not much motion out there at all.   But, if you stuck around long enough and kept your eyes on it you would have seen a couple of neat shoulder high waves peel through your favourite bank – they’re out there.    You’ll need patience to sit through the 15 minute lulls today but if you can get through them there’s some fun waves about.

I reckon the swell’s swung around to the East a touch although the charts are showing South.  It’s inconsistent but there’s 2-3ft of swell pushing through on the morning high tide, well worth a paddle at either end of the beach.
